I enjoyed the concert in Nebraska.I try to go to everyone that has David Phelps. I talked my daughter into going and she enjoyed it, too. She did say that she thought that DP made the show. Love Spoon, most everything they've done. This one is a bit different, more mature to my my ear, but with all of Spoons great minimalist un-over produced sound. Sort of a mix of Cake, minus the horn New Pornographers. I Saw the Light an A+, Written in Reverse sounds channels the ghost of John Lennon, if he were alive I'm sure he'd sound like this.

ive been listening to this album since i was a little girl and sam cooke still gives me the chills when i hear him sing. i have no doubt that he is one of the greatest singers of all time. all of his songs were obviously not classics, but no one can touch him on "bring it on home to me". that is his masterpiece as far as im concerned.

The greatest musical show ever! by J. Arriaga
I started to watch this show with my family, and totally caught me, i have not much to say except that the music is brilliant, the coreography and performances are stunning and the selection of songs is exceptional. Most songs are hits from the 80's which makes me think if the current artists and songs are not as good as those bands. My daughter is discovering these great songs from classic artists throught glee!

Great music to sing along to while cleaning house! by Tonya R. Paddock
I bought both Volumes 1 and 2 for my teenage daughter who is addicted to the show. She listens to both frequently. But now, she has me (a thirty, pushing 40 something middle aged ol crow) addicted to the show and this music. I like 2 better than one simply because of the choices of songs. This is a great CD to listen and sing along to when you are cleaning house, working on the computer or painting art as my daughter and I do! Excellent CD!

Can't Go Wrong with Buble.... by Stacey M Smith
This cd is lovely. A refreshing mix of standards and retro (70's) tunes. Buble is hard to resist. His voice is just like buttah and the band is great. About the time I think that all of the songs have been sung and reworked, he reinvents sound.

Taylor Swift - she never fails to please! by Jeannie D
Despite what Kenye West does or says, Taylor Swift is a force in music that few can resist. Unlike many performers today, she writes many of her own songs and the lyrics are truly heartfelt. Her songs touch on themes faced by young girls and women all over and the feelings expressed are genuine. I purchased the CD for 2 specific songs but found myself playing it over and over for other songs like 'Hey Stephen' and 'Breathe' that have now became my favorites. I'm looking forward to even better things from her.

Norah has taken a new direction on the The Fall, experimenting with different sounds and a new set of collaborators, including Jacquire King, a noted producer and engineer who has worked with Kings of Leon, Tom Waits and Modest Mouse. Definitely one of my favorite albums of the year. by A. Pack
On first listen (or just to the 30 second samples) one might not be to impressed with this album from Norah Jones. But on further listening, one can tell that this is definitely one of her strongest albums. All great artists explore different avenues. And she does this incredibly well. Just because 'The Fall' is not exactly what you are expecting to hear with Jones, she nails it. It has a much "rockier" sound. She doesn't use the piano as much as on her earlier albums. It's something new and exciting for her. And personally I loved it. It may take a couple listens, but it's well worth it.
